KLS MARTIN MarSeal IQ

The MarSeal instrument made by KLS MARTIN is a huge step forward to more sustainability in hospital, as it can be reused minimum 50 times after sterilization. It is the first of its kind worldwide. After ending its lifecycle it can easily be disassembled and recyceled.

In keyhole surgery, operations take place very patient-friendly through small openings using video endoscopes. The MarSeal allows surgeons to grasp tissue, seal it with electric current and dissect it immediately with a built-in knife.

High-quality stainless steel and plastic parts are used for the materials. The flowing contours of the handle lie securely and comfortably in the hand. They are ergonomically optimized even for surgeons’ hands of different sizes. Despite the complex mechanical system, the geometry of the controls meshes perfectly for an efficient and low-fatigue workflow.
