11 / 2019 – Dual success for HEIM+HAUS at the German Design Award 2020

HEIM+HAUS, based in Duisburg, received two accolades at the German Design Award 2020, for the SK40 roller shutter and WGB Plus pergola awning. This marks the continuation of a long track record of successful entries. The pergola awning is of multifunctional design. It can be installed on slender upright supports, suspended beneath a glass roof, or mounted on top of a glass roof.

The judges stated the following on the SK40: “The retrofit roller shutter excels in terms of both form and function. Its clear-cut, elegantly simple design makes it suitable for many architectural styles. It also offers good heat and sound insulation, making it even more attractive.”
